Marking this historical day, six British Columbia Sisters from Local 1598 attended an International Women’s Day breakfast sponsored by the BC Building Trades. They are pictured standing in front of the Building Together banner.

Some other British Columbia Sisters marked the day by attending a sold-out Women on the Waterfront event that featured unionized tradeswomen. Check out the photo with the black background and a Sister offering the classic “thumbs up” salute.
