Twenty backpacks with all sorts of goodies – that’s what Kentucky Sisters provided to some local-area homeless individuals. Donated by the Coalition of the Homeless, the backpacks contained various supplies. Cash was also donated and used to buy more supplies with the final contents including hats, gloves, socks, and scarfs.

Contributors to this worthy cause included Diane Atzinger, Sonja Polimac, Heather Pollock, Dwayne Fields, and Markel Hargrove.

As these pictures show, the response from backpack recipients was an overwhelming joy. Everyone received a “thank you” and hug.
