Another year means another Asbury Park Pride parade, and New Jersey Sisters get very excited about the event. That’s because they get a chance to share information about construction careers, as well as interact with potential pre-apprentices.

This year, Sisters had a booth that included literature, banners, pens, and a nailing station. Many attendees tried to hammer in a nail. After doing so, they walked away with a better understanding of the Carpenters apprenticeship program and the Sisters in the Brotherhood pre-apprentice program.

Three shifts of sisters volunteered to take care of the booth and they had a good time.
