Women were the focus of a recent pre-apprentice course designed to spark interest in Carpentry. The course was a joint partnership between the Prairie Arctic Trades Training Center and Gabriel Dumont Institute. It was held in Northern Saskatchewan.

Several women participated in the course, which offered an opportunity to learn skills and use tools essential for success in the construction industry. They are pictured here hard at work and with some finished products.
