Seattle SIB Help Finish Job Abandoned by Contractor

A chicken coop – that’s what the Seattle SIB and Carpenters in Action (CIA) took on to help out a neighborhood organization. Marra Farms, an organization that cultivates food for those in need and teaches neighborhood self-reliance, hired a contractor to build a chicken coop for a big community.

Unfortunately, the contractor committed fraud by abandoning the job, which left the farm desperate to build the coop before winter. That’s when Sisters and Brothers stepped in to finish the job. Check out the group photo.
